CMCC (Centro Mediterraneo Cambiamenti Climatici), Lecce
Born in 2005 and based in Lecce (Puglia), the CMCC is a point of reference for public decision makers, institutions, companies that need technical-scientific support for the definition of climate strategies. It carries out studies and models of the climate system and its interactions with society and the environment. Collected data is processed by others to predict how the climate will change and its effects on human activities. The workforce in 2022 consisted of 265 people, 44% women and 52% under 40.
