ENEA, Frascati

Born in 1952, ENEA is a public research body that deals with of research in a number of sectors, from the circular economy to nuclear. This site is based in Frascati, near Rome, but the company has 2,300 employees and 13 large research centers laboratories in Italy. 

It has had mixed fortunes, linked to those of nuclear energy in Italy, but in this field it maintains niches of excellence, collaborating to various projects on the development of fission and at large international project on fusion Iter.
